An Epic Story
Gadiss, a political leader, is taking over the land of Lemuria, and a small band of heroes rises up to stop him. You play as a hero who wakes up with no memory, and uncovering your past is part of the journey. Early in the adventure, an airship dogfight cutscene shows off just how far Tecmo pushed the NES hardware.
Real-Time Action RPG Combat
Chronicles of Radia War plays differently from turn-based NES RPGs like Dragon Warrior and Final Fantasy. Battles happen in real time, right on the field, in a style similar to The Legend of Zelda, and the screen doesn't switch to a separate battle scene.
