F-Zero X Climax - N64

F-Zero X Climax brings the Japan-only Game Boy Advance game F-Zero Climax to the Nintendo 64, rebuilt in full 3D and loaded onto a real N64 cartridge you can play on your original console. F-Zero Climax was released only in Japan on the GBA in 2004, so most players have never raced its tracks. This N64 remake changes that, turning every Climax circuit into a high-speed F-Zero X track. No emulator, no patching, no setup. Just plug in the cart and race.

The Japan-Only F-Zero, Remade for N64
F-Zero Climax was the last traditional F-Zero game Nintendo made, and it never came out in North America. F-Zero X Climax, created by Philippe Brodier, replaces all 24 F-Zero X tracks with circuits from F-Zero Climax, so you get an entirely new track list on the N64 F-Zero engine. It plays less like a mod and more like an unofficial new F-Zero game.

All 24 Tracks Rebuilt in 3D
The original GBA tracks were flat, Mode 7-style courses. F-Zero X Climax rebuilds them with added height and 3D track design, something the GBA version never had. Each course keeps the layout of its GBA original, with dash arrows, ice, and dirt in the same spots, but the tracks are longer to match F-Zero X's speed and handling.
