About Animal Forest
Animal Forest was originally released in Japan for the Nintendo 64 in 2001. Nintendo later expanded the concept for the GameCube as Dลbutsu no Mori+, which was localized and released in North America as Animal Crossing.
The original N64 version differs from the later GameCube release, including fewer fish and bugs, no museum, lower-resolution graphics, and a cartridge-based clock system.
