Chrono Trigger Schala Edition - SNES

Chrono Trigger: Schala Edition answers the question fans have been asking for 30 years: what if Schala escaped the Ocean Palace? Now on a real SNES cartridge you can play on your original Super Nintendo. No emulator, no patching, no setup. Just plug in the cart and play.

The What-If Every Chrono Trigger Fan Has Wondered About
Schala's fate is the biggest open wound in Chrono Trigger. In Schala Edition, she survives the Ocean Palace disaster, and the story goes somewhere it never got to go. Magus leads Marle and the party on an expanded adventure through 12,000 BC in search of his sister, promising to help them get Crono back, but only if they help him first. It builds to one of the most anticipated reunions in RPG history.

New Content Throughout
This is an extensive hack, not a small edit.
• New locations to explore
• New enemies and bosses
• New scenes written into the story
• New Techs
• New items and weapons
• An extended, polished script
• New Game+ included

Built on the Script You Remember
The writing stays close to Ted Woolsey's 1995 translation, so it reads like the Chrono Trigger you grew up with. The script has been extended and polished rather than rewritten, which means new content that sounds like it belongs.

A Note on Schala
Schala is not a playable character. The hack changes the story so that she's recovered and survives, and it expands the plot around that, but the party stays the one you know.

For Players Who've Beaten It a Dozen Times
If Chrono Trigger is your favorite game and you've run through it more times than you can count, Schala Edition gives you a reason to start a new file. Same world, same feel, a story that goes further than the original ever did.

Play on Original Super Nintendo Hardware
