Super Mario Bros 3 Rainbow Realms 2 - NES

Super Mario Bros. 3: The Rainbow Realms 2 is a complete Super Mario Bros. 3 ROM hack with 90 brand-new levels, now on a real NES cartridge you can play on your original Nintendo Entertainment System. Eighteen months of work went into it, and it shows. No emulator, no patching, no setup. Just plug in the cart and play.

90 New Levels Across 8 Worlds
This is a full-length hack, not a handful of levels. Every world has been rebuilt with creative level design and bright, colorful palettes that give the game its name.
• RustRazed Ridge
• Peacock Prairies
• The Ice Fields
• Muncher Valley
• Aquatic Wonderland
• Butterscotch Falls
• Plus two more worlds to finish the run

Challenging, But Fair
Here's what sets Rainbow Realms 2 apart from most well-known SMB3 hacks: it isn't kaizo. The difficulty curve is built to be fair and challenging rather than punishing, so you don't need frame-perfect inputs or a hundred attempts per screen. Reviewers have praised it for being accessible to a wide audience while still giving good players plenty to chew on.

Warp Whistles Hidden in Every World
Like the original Super Mario Bros. 3, there's a warp whistle hidden in each world. Finding them all is its own game.

A Sequel to a Community Favorite
The Rainbow Realms 2 is the follow-up to creator bluecrush's first hack, with the same focus on inventive level design and colorful worlds, plus a more polished build. The original earned a loyal following, and the sequel is more of what made it work.

Classic Super Mario Bros. 3 Gameplay
Everything you love about SMB3 is intact: the Tanooki Suit, the Frog Suit, the Hammer Bro Suit, the overworld map, the airships, and Mario's controls at their absolute best. New levels, same perfect game underneath.

Play on Original NES Hardware
This Rainbow Realms 2 cartridge is made to play on original NES consoles, giving you the authentic 8-bit experience with your real controller on your real system. It's a must-have for Mario fans, NES collectors, and anyone who wants 90 new levels for the greatest NES game ever made.
