Super Punch-Out Special Edition - SNES

Super Punch-Out!! Special Edition takes one of the best boxing games ever made and unlocks what Nintendo left buried in the code, now on a real SNES cartridge you can play on your original Super Nintendo. Two-player versus mode, per-circuit glove colors, and a fix for the Special Circuit lock. No emulator, no patching, no setup. Just plug in the cart and fight.

Two-Player Versus Mode, Finally Playable
Super Punch-Out!! shipped in 1994 with a two-player versus mode hidden in the code that players could never normally reach. Special Edition unlocks it. Hand a friend the second controller and settle it in the ring. This is the feature Punch-Out fans have wanted for 30 years.

The Special Circuit Always Unlocks
The original ROM had a security checksum that blocked the Special Circuit from unlocking on emulators, save states, and modified copies. That check has been removed, so the hidden final circuit, the one the "Special Edition" name is a nod to, unlocks the way it should every time.

Per-Circuit Glove Colors
Each circuit now has its own glove color, mirroring how Punch-Out!! on Wii handled it:
• Minor Circuit: green
• Major Circuit: blue
• World Circuit: red
• Special Circuit: yellow

Polish and Fixes
• Special Circuit ring artwork and palette on the title screen
• "SPECIAL EDITION" subtitle added to the title screen
• Fixed the "SUPER MACHOMAN" typo to "SUPER MACHO MAN" across every screen

The Arcade-Style Boxing Classic
Little Mac fights 16 opponents across four circuits in a game that plays more like the arcade Punch-Out than the NES one. Land punches to the face and body, build your super meter, dodge to the side, and learn every opponent's pattern. The battery saves your progress, your best times against each fighter, and your score, so there's always a reason to run it again.

Play on Original Super Nintendo Hardware
This Super Punch-Out!! Special Edition cartridge is made to play on original SNES consoles, giving you the authentic 16-bit experience with your real controller on your real system. It's a must-have for Punch-Out fans, SNES collectors, and anyone who wants the two-player mode Nintendo never let us play.
