Zelda's Birthday is a classic Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time ROM hack for the Nintendo 64, now on a real N64 cartridge you can play on your original console. Created by s Spinout, and released in 2008 to celebrate Ocarina of Time's 10th anniversary, it's one of the very first Zelda 64 hacks ever made. No emulator, no patching, no setup. Someone Stole Zelda's Birthday Presents!
It's Princess Zelda's birthday, and Saria, Malon, and Princess Ruto all have gifts ready for her. There's just one problem: their presents have been stolen. Link has to track down each missing gift at the far end of three brand-new dungeons and get them back in time for the party. It's a lighthearted, fun twist on Ocarina of Time that puts a smile on every Zelda fan's face.

A Piece of Zelda Modding History
Zelda's Birthday was made to mark ten years of Ocarina of Time, from its release in November 1998 to November 2008. As one of the first full Zelda 64 hacks, it helped kick off the Ocarina of Time modding scene that's still going strong today. It's short, but it packs a lot of gameplay into a fun afternoon.
Before You Play
- Start a new game on file 2 or file 3. File 1 is a debug level select and will not save.
- Do not save after getting the Master Sword. Saving after that point sends the game back to the original Ocarina of Time and removes the hack content.
